Originally the Chicago Public Library, this historic downtown third space houses free art exhibitions, tours, community events and our very first Good Things Vending Machine. Concepted in 2019 and installed in 2021 - this machine was our proof of concept and is Located in the interactive Welcome Center.

The Off Color Brewing taproom’s got 16 draftlines, can and bottle options, a riverside view and a dog friendly patio. In 2022 this machine was installed at the late, great Metropolitan Brewing and given a new home at Mousetrap in 2023. Metro and OC are two Chicago brewing legends with a long history of “crossover episodes,” which now includes our machine that lives in their main space.

Kimball Arts Center is a hub of Chicago creativity. Located next to the 606 Trail in Humboldt Park and open to the public, this space invites the community in to meet these businesses, see the art, catch a show and grab a coffee.

Way Out is our resident Joy Wizard, Dave’s, favorite spot for wings and drag. A community bar that boasts nice fun cool times and does not disappoint. Cold Beer - Cheap Shots - Free Pool Table and a recently added photo booth. This machine features free Plan B in collaboration with Midwest Access Coalition.

This west loop beer garden has a long and unexpected list of offerings. With rotating drafts, a cat named Bacon, Shuffleboard and Bocce seasonally and a free shuttle to the United Center after your pregame there is always a reason to swing by.

One of the first places in Chicago we saw a unique vending machine, The Owl is a true Chicago Cultural Institution. Open til 4am, this late night legend allowed us to swap out their inherited mini vending machine with our 6th machine. This machine features free Plan B in collaboration with Midwest Access Coalition.

Garfield Park Conservatory is one of the largest greenhouse conservatories in the US and a gift to the community. This machine I truly embedded into the space, with its mural extending onto the surrounding walls. The project serves to invite folks to move from the inside greenhouses to the expansive 10 acres of outdoor space.

As Illinois' largest independently-owned brewery, Revolution Brewing is one of the best local spots to find whatever brew you're looking for. With eight 800 barrel fermenters at the brewery, they really are not messing around. Stop by for one of their many events, or grab a beer made by them at countless bars across the US.

Avondale Bowl is exactly what you think of when you imagine a swanky vintage bowling alley. Its maintained retro charm - 8 wooden lanes, all manual scoring - has cemented it as a true Chicago staple. And did we mention they have a killer bar? It's literally won awards!

You really can't get more quintessential Chicago than the CTA. The Chicago Redline station sees thousands of commuters, errand-runners, and out-of-towners year round, and serves as a massive part of Chicago's heartbeat.
